Shape of the Mountains

"Why do you keep going to the mountains?" People often ask me that question, especially "ma". Honestly, I don't have a straightforward answer. "I guess, I just love it out there ma"!

Well, I could have ended right there, but not tonight! Am in the mood to type (blame it on the beautiful Mac keyboard).
There's something undeniably special about these rugged landscapes, something that transcends words. They possess a silent eloquence, a power to evoke feelings that are nearly impossible to put into sentences (yet, I'll try). Being surrounded by the majestic Himalayas, makes me feel so small and insignificant. And, it puts a lot of things into perspective. It's more of a journey of discovering myself. I discover, what truly matters in life. It's here that I find a sense of freedom that makes me feel truly alive!
I can see, I can feel — nature's heartbeat pulsing all around me in those little things. Once I start getting comfortable with being uncomfortable - I start making these memories that define me as an individual. They're the ones I'll hopefully carry with me, for the rest of my life!
